Radlett nursery is spacious with a number of various rooms. The children have access to the variety of space available and are engaged in activities throughout the day. 

The staff are friendly and show care for the children. It is a fun environment! I have enjoyed my time working there as agency staff.

I was placed in First Place Nursery, Radlett by my agency in March on a long term booking.

I have worked in many nurseries and have been in childcare for 18 years. 

What I have found in First Place is an extremely friendly staff team who have gone out of their way to make me feel comfortable and who have welcomed me into their team from my first day .The nursery setting is lovely, with lots of space for the children to play and flourish. The children are extremely happy and confident within the nursery and are a joy to be around. 

It is clear that the management team ensure they employ only the best childcare practitioners they find as all the staff are so well suited to the setting. Donna (Manager) and Harley (Deputy) are really accommodating and ensure the nursery is run to a high standard whilst maintaining a relaxed but professional environment. Staff are encouraged to progress in their careers and are well supported. 

I enjoy going to work at First Place every day and will really miss seeing the staff and children when it is my time to leave.

Can’t believe we have come to the end of an era and my son is now ready to go to school! He has grown in confidence and independence and is writing his own name. We can’t thank First Place enough and would definitely recommend. If we ever have another child, we will most definitely return!

I have to say we have been really impressed with how the nursery has handled everything during COVID-19. We have received lots of regular information and updates and we feel very safe to send our daughter back with all the safety measures having been put in place.

We are delighted with the nursery setting. There is a lovely friendly atmosphere throughout the nursery. The staff are warm and welcoming and really take the time to get to know the children. My son runs in happily for every session. The food that is provided is of a much higher standard than is offered elsewhere.

Fantastic nursery! My daughter absolutely loves first place and is there full time. The staff are extremely professional and I have seen my daughter progress really well both educationally and emotionally. Every day she tells me about the varied and interesting games/activities and they are creating an amazing learning journal with photos, artwork and observations. I could not recommend this nursery enough, I trust them implicitly with my childcare and daughters development. They also offer extra clubs for IT, music, drama and sports which my daughter loves.

First Place is a lovely, warm and nurturing nursery. I am delighted that my daughter is so happy and I have noticed a huge difference in her confidence and development since she started with you in January.

We have been extremely pleased with first Place Radlett. Our daughter has been there for nearly two years and cannot wait to go to nursery in the morning. There is a wide range of activities from circuit computer, dance, drama, forest school, cooking and sports. Our daughter has made some lovely friendships and has total trust and ease with the staff. There is a good balance between fun and exploration and structure preparing for big school. It is very well run and the staff are passionate about the kids and the nursery.
