Early Club
This offers professional and secure childcare for those times when parents have an early start for work or other early morning demands.
Your child can join us for breakfast at Early club giving you the reassurance that that they are starting the day with a good nutritional breakfast in a calm and friendly atmosphere.
Lunch Box
Staying at nursery over lunchtime can be both valuable for children and useful for busy parents. Bringing in a packed lunch and taking part in playtime helps children to gain a greater sense of independence, develop social skills and prepare for full-time school. Parents can also take advantage of our expert nutritional advice.
Late Club
Extending the afternoon session with our late club is particularly welcome by working parents and those with other family responsibilities.

Drama/Speach Club
Little Acorns Dance and Theatre Academy classes are taught by Lauren Shannon a Professional Actress.
Language/Drama and speech Development classes for ages 2-3 years.
These classes will focus on storytelling and consist of various drama techniques including improvisation to stimulate your child’s imagination and build confidence, not only in performing but interacting with other pupils whilst in a fun environment.
The sessions will also focus on in improving your child/children’s development in speech and focus on aiding their clarity
and diction in speaking and help children progress who may have difficulties in communication.
Drama/ Speech classes are for ages 3-5 years.
These classes will also consist of Storytelling to stimulate imagination and creativity. The sessions will also focus on
individual speech development whilst focussing on clarity and diction in speaking. Various Confidence building exercises
with the focus on interaction in speech, which will aid the children who are preparing for school assessments but also
benefit children who may have difficulties in communication.
Each session will run for 30 minutes on a Wednesday morning.
Music club
Tiny Mites Music, Movement and Drama sessions are for all ages and are taught by a professional actress/singer with experience in teaching young children. The Tiny Mites Music programme covers a wealth of subjects and links into the early Years Foundation Stage.
Imaginative and fun the children look at subjects including ‘animals’ and ‘under the sea’. Dancing, marching and action songs are included along with props, puppets and musical instruments. The music sessions are thoroughly enjoyed by all and even the youngest children get involved.

Click IT Computer Club is a unique active learning experience for pre-school children. The programme is designed around a hands-on approach with the focus on children learning in a very small group situation whilst also receiving individual attention. Using thoroughly tested educational software and individually designed project work, Click IT come into nursery on a weekly basis and bring with them state of the art computers along with colour printers and work to a structured termly lesson plan incorporating nursery themes into exciting project work.

Football Club
Jack Harris, qualified football coach brings coaching sessions to First Place every week. The course provides coaching to girls and boys of 2-5 years of age and of all standards and abilities. The children build confidence as they develop their balance, coordination and agility through the sessions. They have fun developing new ball skills as they enjoy a healthy and active lifestyle.

Dance club
Mrs Beckford’s Dance classes for 2-5 year olds encourages the children to exercise to music through dance. The weekly session starts with a warm-up followed by a routine of hip hop, street dancing, pop etc. The children enjoy expressing themselves in a fun and confidence building environment which provides opportunity for them to learn movements which help improve coordination, motivation, agility and concentration. Mrs Beckford has introduced colourful attractive picture cards and has associated each fruit and vegetable picture with a dance movement so it is easier for the youngest children to remember. This system has proven to be a great success and the children are able to remember quite complex routines.

Tennis Club
Nigel Buckman and his coaches from Pinner Lawn Tennis Club bring tennis coaching sessions to First Place, Bushey every Tuesday afternoon. All children are welcome from the age of 2 years. The sessions will provide tennis coaching to children of all standards and abilities. The course includes everything to impart basic technique, movement and co-ordination.
